We work with them to make sure that the legendary taste of Capri-Sun makes its way safely into the unique pouch, that the straws get put on, that the taste stays pure and consistent and that there’s a Capri-Sun flavour, size, drink and snack type for every fan. That’s why, these days, we are also food technicians, engineers, market analysts, management experts and designers, along with the clerks, machine operators, packers, farmers and delivery drivers who make sure your Capri-Sun arrives fresh and delicious. Just like you, all of us are fans of Capri-Sun!

It all began in sunny Heidelberg, Germany, where the creative and adventurous young businessman Rudolf Wild began making and selling his all-natural beverage. He was looking for a light but sturdy alternative to the heavy, breakable glass bottles typical of the time – one that would fit conveniently into schoolbags and rucksacks as well as go along on holiday – for example, to Italy and sunny Capri. He developed a drink pack that combined stability, flexibility and lightness– and gave it its own drinking straw to enjoy his deliciously fruity beverage with no mess or fuss. Capri-Sun was born! The idea was so revolutionary that Rudolf Wild had to invent the machinery for producing the pouches. This was followed by the machinery to fill the waiting pouches with the delicious beverage.

Following on the heels of first successful flavour orange, we’ve developed a cornucopia of new and tangy fruit variations over the years. Capri-Sun flavours have always been distinctly delicious, and each one a mouth-watering surprise. Today, our wide product assortment has something for every taste – and it keeps on growing!

Today, Capri-Sun is a household name and an international success story, with over six billion drink pouches sold annually around the world and over (and over 50 MILLION in Ireland alone!). The company is still family owned and run, it remains our pledge to our customers everywhere to always uphold the quality and integrity of our products.
